Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
Flick is a feed of quick mini games. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Playing without an account
Your progress, best scores, liked games and settings are stored on your device. We do not need your name, email or contact list to play.
If you sign up with Apple
Sign in with Apple gives us a private Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. We do not ask for your email address. We use these only to keep your account and to save your game progress to the cloud so it follows you to other devices. You can edit your display name and choose a public username in the app at any time. When you sign up we ask for your birthday only to confirm you are old enough to have an account; we do not store it.
Challenges and groups
When you share a score or join a group challenge, the game, your score and the display name you chose are sent to our server so friends can see them. Share links contain the game and score you are sharing.
Creator waitlist
If you join the creator waitlist, in the app or at /creators, we store the name, email address, optional link and note you give us, and use them only to contact you about publishing games on Flick. Ask us at any time to remove your entry.
Gameplay statistics
We record anonymous usage events, such as which games are opened and how long rounds last, tied to a random install ID rather than to you, so we can fix bugs and improve games. They are never sold.
Technical data
Our server sees your IP address when the app talks to it. We use it only to keep the service secure (for example, rate limiting) and do not keep it with your account.
Ads
This version of Flick does not show ads. If we add advertising later, we will update this policy before it ships and ask for any permission your device requires.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not collect contacts, photos, location or microphone data.
Deleting your data
In the app, open Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, sessions and cloud save from our servers. Progress stored only on your device stays until you delete the app.
Children
Flick is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Anyone under 13 can keep playing without an account, but cannot sign up.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Questions: the contact details on our App Store page.
